JBM Ecolife Mobility, a subsidiary of JBM Auto, has secured an order worth ₹5,500 crore to supply 1,021 electric buses under the PM e-Bus Sewa Scheme-2 initiative. These buses will be deployed across Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Haryana.
As part of the contract, JBM Ecolife Mobility will oversee the end-to-end execution of the project. A payment security mechanism has been integrated to ensure timely payments to electric bus operators, enhancing financial sustainability for industry stakeholders.
Over the next 12 years, the e-buses are expected to cover more than 32 billion passenger e-km and reduce carbon emissions by over 1 billion metric tons.

With a focus on innovation and infrastructure, JBM aims to make electric mobility more accessible, efficient, and environmentally friendly.
Over the next 3-4 years, the company aims to serve over 20 billion passengers and cover 3 billion e-km, ensuring safe and reliable travel.
JBM Auto has already deployed approximately 2,000 electric buses across India, Europe, West Asia, and Africa. With this latest order, its total order book has grown to over 11,000 electric buses in various stages of execution. Additionally, JBM has established the world's largest dedicated integrated electric bus manufacturing facility outside China, located in the Delhi-NCR region, with an annual production capacity of 20,000 electric buses.
