Supreme Power Equipment Limited (SPEL), a prominent manufacturer of power and distribution transformers, recently announced it has secured a significant domestic order valued at ₹60.90 crore from NLC India Limited (NIL), a Navratna public sector enterprise operating under the Ministry of Coal.

The order, awarded on May 26, 2025, marks a pivotal moment for Supreme Power Equipment as it represents the company's first-ever contract with NLC India Limited. Under the terms of the agreement, SPEL will supply inverter duty transformers specifically designed to meet NIL's stringent specifications. These transformers are essential components in both renewable and thermal power generation, crucial for converting and conditioning power output for seamless integration into the grid and ensuring stable distribution.
